YOU AREN'T YOUR STRUGGLES Anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma and insomnia are the labels we give our struggles. They may help us identify common symptoms, but people are so much more than a label or a diagnosis. That’s why I work to look under the label and find out what life experiences, difficulties, or imbalances are keeping you from your most fulfilled life. Each person is unique, and your story is the key that will unlock your healing potential.

Hi, I’m Leah. I believe that all people are doing the best that they can and striving to achieve maximum happiness and satisfaction. However, many of us experience difficulties that prevent us from reaching that goal. My objective as a therapist is to help you move through the things that are blocking you from living your ideal life.

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed. I believe in holistic care and the value of harmonizing the mind and body. I use trauma-resolution modalities such as EMDR and Somatic Experiencing combined with traditional and complementary therapies to help clients reach their goals.

Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It’s a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity. TRAUMA THERAPY MOOD DISORDERS & ANXIETY MENTAL HEALTH NUTRITION Traumatic experiences shake us to our very core, and make us feel like our world is spinning off its axis. I’m here to support you as you regain your footing. Although traumatic experiences exert a powerful influence, they don’t have to be a life sentence—these very experiences can offer opportunities for healing and growth. 26% of Americans live with a mental health diagnosis. Including depression, anxiety, and bipolar. If you’re experiencing hopelessness, mood swings, insomnia, or are living with racing thoughts, you aren’t alone. I help people with these concerns through a variety of modalities that move beyond symptoms to address root causes. Mental health nutrition is both an emerging and an ancient form of healing. This therapy involves the treatment of mental health disorders using natural therapies such as diet and lifestyle modification. The food we eat, our environment, and our lifestyle all affect the ability of our brain and body to function optimally. - Pema Chodron READ MORE READ MORE READ MORE
